Knickerbocker Park in Providence
Knickerbocker Park in Providence Las Vegas’ master planned community in the Northwest part of the valley is a large, 15 acre park that offers athletic facilities, picnic areas, a dog park and incredible views. The park itself is one of the nicest we’ve seen in the valley.
There are separate play areas for ages 2 to 5 years old and 5 to 12 years old. Yes, they have swings. There are slides. And there’s a splash pad to enjoy on these hot Summer days. There’s a large grassy play field. A baseball field. And one of our favorite dog parks in town.
The most amazing thing about Knickerbocker Park may be the views. This is a perfect spot for the Fourth of July Fireworks show. We expect this year’s show to be incredible. Tommy Rocker will be performing. The Slidin’ Thru truck will be on hand for those who would rather not be bothered with grilling themselves. And they’ve hired Pyretecnico (yeah, the guys who do the Strip fireworks) to do a 15 minute firework display.
Festivities for the 4th of July will run from 6 until 9:30 at Knickerbocker Park. In addition to seeing the Providence fireworks display, the elevation makes the park an ideal place to see the fireworks throughout the valley. From this point, one can see all the way to Aliante, downtown, the Strip and Anthem up in the hills of Henderson.
This also gives an idea of what sort of view you might be able to find in one of the nearby homes. Not all homes in Providence have incredible views like we find at Knickerbocker Park, but some of them do. If you’re looking for a view, let us know and we will help you narrow down the options to the communities and the locations that fit your budget.
